Membership
Ngāti Te Whiti Hapū traces lineage back to the union of Te Whiti Tuatahi and Tarawhakauka.
Our connection to Ngāmotu is also grounded in generations of continuous occupation by our tūpuna, with whakapapa connections to the earliest kinship groups of the area, including Moturoa, Ngāmotu, Ngāti Tuparikino and Ngāti Tawhirikura.

Registration helps us maintain our hapū membership records, keep whānau informed about hui and kaupapa, and enables registered members to participate in the affairs of the Society.
